Attention 1st and 2nd Year Students!

In accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-81 dated May 24, 2024, and the Regulation “On the Procedure for Granting and Redistributing Educational Grants to Students in Higher Education Institutions”, approved by Resolution No. 149 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 10, 2025, the process of granting and redistributing educational grants at UWED for the 2026/2027 academic year has commenced.

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy has established a procedure for the differentiated redistribution of educational grants among socially active students - citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have achieved high academic performance in their second and subsequent years of study - as well as for the provision of additional grants.

Students enrolled in the 1st and 2nd years of study are eligible to participate in the grant redistribution and additional grant allocation process as applicants.

Applicants must register through the my.hemis.uz portal by July 20 of the current year.

The following GPA requirements apply to grant applicants based on their academic performance in the current academic year: a GPA of 3.5 or above for an educational grant; a GPA of 4.0 or above for an additional state grant (for students in designated categories).

The social activity score of applicants is calculated based on the evaluation criteria set out in Annex 2 to the Regulation.

The maximum score an applicant may accumulate is 100 points.

In cases where applicants within the established number of grant places achieve equal scores, priority is given to the applicant's academic performance indicator.
