    On May 5-6, 2026, Doctor of Law, Professor N.A. Nugmanov of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines at UWED visited and delivered guest lectures at Lund University, a leading Swedish institution of higher education.

    On May 5, Professor N.A. Nugmanov gave a lecture for students of Lund University’s Faculty of Sociology of Law on the topic “Prospects of international legal regulation of AI”. The lecture covered issues of international legal regulation of artificial intelligence, the global significance of the UN Convention on Cybercrime, the importance of international and regional cooperation in combating new threats in the information space, and the impact of information and communication technologies on cybersecurity.

    May 6, 2026 Professor N.A. Nugmanov gave a lecture for students of the Faculty of Sociology of Law at Lund University on the topic “Legal Aspect of International Cyberterrorism”. The lecture focused on current approaches and international legal mechanisms for countering cyberterrorism.

    On May 7-8, Professor N.A. Nugmanov met with the faculty of the Faculty of Sociology of Law at Lund University. During the meeting, they exchanged views on developing academic collaboration, including joint research and publications, as well as organizing joint lectures. The international scientific and academic experience gained by Nugman Nugmanov will be of great importance in his research and teaching activities, as well as in training highly qualified specialists in international law.
