On May 16, the Legal Clinic hosted a moot court session on Tort Law, organized by second-year students of the International Law program at UWED.

The event was presided over by Judge Alisher Komarov of the Mirzo-Ulugbek Interdistrict Civil Court of Tashkent, who served as the presiding judge.

During the simulation, students actively participated in procedural roles as plaintiff and defendant, presented claims, objections, and evidence, and took part in oral pleadings. The case was examined in accordance with modern civil and tort law principles, ensuring adversarial proceedings, equality of parties, and alignment with current judicial practice.

The purpose of the event was to enhance students’ practical legal skills, develop professional legal reasoning, and deepen their understanding of civil litigation procedures.
