On the occasion of March 27 — World Theatre Day, a “Week of Theatre Performances” was organized from March 21 to 27 in all state theatres across our republic. Throughout the week, theatre enthusiasts were offered various stage performances, creative meetings, as well as spiritual and educational events.

In this connection, on March 27, 2026, first-year students of the Faculties of International Relations and Political Science at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, accompanied by senior lecturers of the English Language Department, Laziza Abdullaeva and Nodira Akhmedova, visited the State Satire Theatre of Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the students watched with great interest and pleasure the play “Chig‘iriq,” which is part of the theatre’s repertoire. The performance made a strong impression on the students and further increased their interest in theatrical art, our national culture, and stage creativity. Such cultural events play an important role in enriching the spiritual and aesthetic worldview of young people.
