New initiatives towards enhancing legal culture — “Online Legal Clinic”

In cooperation with the Legal Clinic under University of World Economy and Diplomacy and professors and lecturers of the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law Diciplines, a permanent initiative group has been established with the aim of providing legal consultations to residents of the Oltintepa махалла located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district, enhancing the legal culture of the population, and promoting legal awareness and legal literacy among youth.
Moreover, one of the key directions of the ongoing organizational work is the expansion of the Legal Clinic’s activities based on modern approaches, in particular, the introduction of the “Online Legal Clinic” through the provision of services in a remote format. In this regard, professors and lecturers of the Department of Civil Law and Private International Law Diciplines provide methodological and practical support to the clinic’s volunteers.
These initiatives are aimed at ensuring citizens’ free access to justice, strengthening legal protection, and enhancing legal awareness and culture in society. At the same time, this activity is focused on supporting youth policy, increasing legal literacy among young people, protecting their rights and interests, and enhancing their social engagement. This contributes to strengthening the legal knowledge of youth and shaping them as conscious and responsible citizens.
This activity is carried out in close alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals put forward by the United Nations, in particular, with the directions aimed at the development of youth policy, justice, and strong institutions.
