UWED students organized a charity event as part of their support for the SDGs, as well as initiatives in the field of “Food Security and Nutrition”

Within the framework of the course “Introduction to Sustainable Development Goals,” second-year students of the “International Relations” program at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy carried out a charitable initiative aimed at providing assistance to socially vulnerable groups of the population suffering from a lack of daily food supplies.
The project was implemented with the active support and inspiring guidance of Associate Professor A.M. Radjabova of the Department of International Relations. The students noted that their involvement in such charitable activities as volunteers brought them a strong sense of satisfaction and social responsibility.
The student team provided practical assistance by delivering food supplies to a group of citizens living in areas adjacent to the Mirzo Ulugbek district who are experiencing social and economic difficulties and are in need of social support.
This event became a vivid example of the social responsibility demonstrated by UWED youth. The participants emphasized that taking part in the project helped them gain a deeper understanding of the importance of solidarity and humanitarian values. They also highlighted that even small actions, when driven by a sincere desire to help, can have a significant impact.
The team expressed its readiness to continue such initiatives in the future, striving to contribute to the development of a caring and socially responsible society.
