Second-year students of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) took part in “Charity Day” volunteer activities held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week. The initiative was organized by Acting Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, A. M. Radjabova, together with trainee-teacher Dilnora Tursunova.

The volunteer event took place at a special shelter for Elderly People with Limited Abilities located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. The program was organized in collaboration with the Food for Life Uzbekistan volunteer organization.

During the visit, UWED students distributed meals and essential household products to elderly residents of the shelter. The activity offered students valuable hands-on experience in promoting a culture of environmental awareness, social responsibility, and humanitarian values. Through active participation in charitable work, students had the opportunity to develop and strengthen genuine humanistic and civic-minded skills.

The administration of Food for Life Uzbekistan as well as the residents of the shelter expressed their appreciation for the students’ efforts and conveyed their sincere gratitude for the support provided.
