As part of the Sustainable Development Goals Week, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an educational event dedicated to the “Toza likopcha” campaign. The initiative was organized in collaboration with the Tashkent City Council of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party, the Healthy Lifestyle Directorate, and the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event brought together members of the university administration, including First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual–Educational Work Odil Yusupjanov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Madina Abdullayeva, faculty members, and students.

The program focused on topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly balanced nutrition, health preservation, environmental cleanliness, and ecological sustainability. Participants were also introduced to the aims, objectives, and broader social importance of the nationwide “Toza likopcha” initiative.

During the session, speakers addressed issues such as preventing food waste, cultivating healthy eating habits, and strengthening a sense of responsibility among young people. They also highlighted WHO recommendations, international best practices, and ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at promoting healthy nutrition.

The event underscored the value of initiatives that honor national traditions, encourage mindful consumption, and reduce waste within families and educational institutions. Serving as the official launch of the “Toza likopcha” initiative at UWED, the event is expected to play a significant role in promoting a culture of healthy and responsible eating among students.
