A representative of Tufts University visited UWED

On November 19 of this year, Robert Bendetson, a representative of one of the leading higher education institutions in the United States of America - Tufts University - visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
During the visit, the guests held a meeting with Akram Umarov, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of UWED.
At the beginning of the discussions, Akram Umarov introduced the members of the UWED delegation to the representative of Tufts University and provided detailed information about the university’s activities, academic and scientific potential, and priority areas of international cooperation.
During the meeting, Robert Bendetson spoke about the activities of Tufts University and its strategy aimed at strengthening international cooperation. He noted the university’s strong interest in developing relations with the countries of Central Asia, particularly with higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. He also emphasized that cooperation between Tufts University and UWED could be mutually beneficial for both sides.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed confidence that their cooperation would continue to develop more effectively, systematically, and sustainably in the future.
