As part of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” project, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organised an open dialogue involving the university administration and students, as well as a preventive social and psychological seminar and training session. The event aimed to enhance young people’s legal awareness and culture, strengthen their psychological well-being, support the meaningful organisation of the summer holiday period, and further develop open communication with students.
The event was attended by First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work O. A. Yusupdjanov, representatives of the university administration, officials from the Department for Coordinating the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies of the Mirzo Ulugbek District, specialists from the Youth Affairs Agency, university psychologist Nargiza Norova, faculty members, course coordinators and students. During the open dialogue, the students’ concerns, proposals and initiatives were heard, and detailed answers were provided to their questions. It was emphasised that supporting students’ practical ideas and proposals remains one of the university’s key priorities.
The preventive part of the seminar focused on preventing offences and crime among young people, maintaining public order, ensuring personal safety during the holiday period, and protecting students from harmful habits. Lieutenant Colonel Sherzod Mirzayev, Deputy Head of the Department for Coordinating the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies of the Mirzo Ulugbek District, explained the negative consequences of narcotic and psychotropic substances and the risks they pose to young people’s lives and health, using real-life examples.

Students received important recommendations on protecting personal data, avoiding suspicious links and following digital security rules.
The event continued with an interactive seminar and training session entitled “The Path to a New Self: Discovering Inner Potential, Personal Development and Building a Healthy Lifestyle During the Holiday Period,” conducted by university psychologist Nargiza Norova. During the session, students completed practical exercises aimed at recognising their inner potential, strengthening motivation, setting clear personal goals and making productive use of the summer holidays.
