Biography Facts
Umurdin Dalabayev is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (DSc) and a Professor at the Department of Systems Analysis and Mathematical Modeling. Before joining UWED, he worked as an Associate Professor at the National University of Uzbekistan and at the Tashkent branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
At the university, he delivers lectures in Calculus I, Calculus II, Linear Algebra, and Quantitative Methods in Economics.
He has published more than 130 scientific works in the field of mathematical modeling and the solution of differential equations using numerical and approximate–analytical methods. He is the author of several monographs, the most recent of which is “Solution of Initial–Boundary Value Problems by the Method of Moving Nodes” (2025).
He defended his doctoral dissertation in December 2021 at the National University of Uzbekistan. He is a laureate of the “Youth of Uzbekistan” Award (1977).
He completed professional training at the University of Oklahoma, USA (1999), and from September 2002 to February 2003 worked as a research fellow at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He is a graduate of the National University of Uzbekistan (1963–1966) and Moscow State University (1966–1966).
