Biography Facts
Uchkun Dustov is an experienced scholar and academic administrator in the field of international relations and political science, holding a PhD degree in Political Sciences. He completed his higher education and doctoral research at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, specializing in international systems and global political development. He has undertaken academic training and research programs in the United States, Germany, France, China, Turkey, and other countries.
Throughout his professional career, he has held a number of senior academic and administrative positions at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, including Head of the Academic Board, Deputy Dean, Director of an Academic Lyceum, Senior Researcher, and Associate Professor. He is currently serving as a full-time Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and holds a part-time vice-rector position at a non-governmental higher education institution.
Dr. Dustov actively contributes to international cooperation, academic governance, and research development. He is a member of the Council for International Cooperation under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and leads initiatives supporting young researchers. His professional activities focus on strengthening higher education quality and expanding international academic engagement.
