Biography Facts
Ergashbaev Sherzod serves as a Chief Specialist at the Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). His professional activities focus on planning and coordinating academic processes, monitoring the quality of education, supporting faculty operations, and managing digital learning platforms.
Sherzod actively contributes to the university’s accreditation processes, oversees the administration of academic documentation, and manages data flow within the HEMIS and MOODLE systems. He also provides methodological and administrative support to faculty members and students, implementing practices aligned with international standards of academic governance.
In August 2025, from the 2nd to the 16th, he successfully completed the “Turkish Language Summer Teaching and Training Program” organized within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between UWED and MAKU University, further strengthening his linguistic and pedagogical competencies.
Sherzod has gained valuable practical experience through internships at several international and analytical institutions, including the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives, the Institute for Advanced International Studies, the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of Uzbekistan’s Cultural Heritage, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. These experiences have equipped him with strong skills in political analysis, international communication, project management, and data-driven research.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (2020–2024) and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Political Science (2024–2025) at UWED. In addition, he is currently an independent researcher at the university and teaches at the Department of International Relations. His academic interests include political processes, international relations theory, global governance, and public policy analysis.
With his analytical mindset, academic competence, and commitment to institutional development, Sherzod Ergashbaev continues to make a meaningful contribution to the educational and research activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
