Biography Facts
Muminova Nargis Yakubovna graduated from the Faculty of History at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in 2003. In 2005, she completed her Master’s degree in the Department of Theory and History of International Relations at the same university.
In 2005, she was admitted to the postgraduate program of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, specializing in 23.00.04 — Political Problems of International Systems and Global Development, and was affiliated with the Department of International Relations.
In 2009, she joined the Department of International Relations as a lecturer. In 2010, she successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Sciences (PhD) on the topic: “Political Aspects of the International Activity of Financial and Economic Structures (The Case of the British East India Company).”
Since 2014, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at JIDU.
Her research interests include International Relations and Foreign Policy, Non-State Actors in International Relations, Multinational/Transnational Corporations, as well as regional studies focused on the United Kingdom, India, and Pakistan.
