    Biography Facts

    Dr. Muslimbek Alijonov is a senior lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Doctor of Philosophy in History (PhD). Dr. Alijonov teaches Philosophy, Society and religion, National Identity in Central Asia: Ideas of Independence and Modern Statehood Humanitarian sciences and .

    Dr. Alijonov graduated from the Tashkent Islamic University with a bachelor's degree, and a master's degree from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. In 2023, he received a PhD in historical sciences from the National University of Uzbekistan, specializing in "History of Uzbekistan".

    Winner of the "Best Third Speaker" nomination and champion of Uzbekistan in the "Discussions-Debates" games organized in 2016.

    Participant of the grant project "Creation of a book and exhibition dedicated to the memory of the prosecutor's office employees -victims of repression", and the author of the monograph "History: memory, conclusions, lessons" dedicated to the repression of internal affairs employees in 1937-1938.

    Dr. Alijanov's scientific research includes the history of the Turkestan Jadidist movement of the late 19th - early 20th centuries, its ideological orientations and philosophy, as well as issues related to the history and philosophy of Sufism.

    Dr. Alijonov is an author of 1 monograph, 2 books and more than 50 scientific articles. He is currently conducting doctoral (DSc) scientific research on the diplomatic relations of the Turkestan Jadids and the activities of Jadid immigrants.
