Ibragim Radjabovich Mavlanov - professor, Doctor of Economics. In 1975-1992, he worked in the scientific and applied field of information technology and mathematical methods in economics and the development of automated control systems. In 1992-2005, he worked in the diplomatic service. In 2005-2015, he was the Head of the Department of Practical Diplomacy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and in 2015-2018, he was the Head of the Department of International Trade and Investment. He is the author of more than 150 scientific articles, 15 monographs, 15 educational and methodological manuals in the field of international economic relations, world economy, economic diplomacy, foreign policy, economic and mathematical methods and automated control systems, published in Uzbekistan and abroad. He is participant of many international and national scientific grants. He is chairman of the Scientific Council and member of the Scientific Seminar on awarding the degrees of Doctor of Science (DSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economic Sciences at the UMED. He is member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2018 he is member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Post-Soviet Studies" of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
