    Biography Facts

    Aziza Radjabova is a senior lecturer in the International Relations department at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED). Her teaching focuses on the theory of international relations, the basics of diplomacy, and research methods. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Council of Young Scientists of the Republic. Aziza is proficient in Russian, Persian, English, and Japanese. Radjabova has involved in impactful projects in collaboration with esteemed international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program and USAID. As a national expert on gender issues, she successfully executed the project "National Gender Indicators in Accordance with International Standards: Analysis, Scientific Methods, and Aspects," in partnership with the Family and Gender Scientific Research Institute. Furthermore, her analytical treatise, "Gender Indicators in the Sustainable Development Goals," showcases her commitment to advancing gender equality. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Relations from UWED and dedicated her doctoral studies (2019-2022) to investigating vital issues, culminating in a successful defense of her dissertation on "Priority Directions and Prospects for the Implementation of the United Nations Global Gender Equality Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan" in 2023. Her scientific research encompasses topics such as international cooperation within the framework of sustainable development goals, the modern foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the empowerment of women in world politics, and their participation in the decision-making process.
