Biography Facts
Dr. Shirin Khamdamova is an Associate Professor at the department. Previously, she worked at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (APA).
She delivers lectures in the disciplines of International Humanitarian Law, Public International Law, and Methodology of Scientific Research. Dr. Khamdamova has published more than 25 scientific works, including the textbook “International Humanitarian Law” (2025) and the monograph “Organization of Local Government” (2023). She defended her PhD dissertation at the University of Public Security of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan in December 2020. Dr. Khamdamova organizes master classes for students within the framework of International Humanitarian Law, involving specialists from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). She also supervises students’ preparation for participation in international competitions such as the Dr. Martens Competition and the Jean-Pictet Competition. She regularly participates as a speaker at national and international conferences on topical issues of International Humanitarian Law. Dr. Shirin Mirzayuldashevna Khamdamova graduated from Tashkent State University of Law (Bachelor’s degree, 2011; Master’s degree, 2013).
She has completed training internships at the Hertie School of Governance in Germany (2013) and at one of the leading academic institutions in France — the National Institute of Public Service (INSP) in Paris (2016, 2023).
