Associate Professor, Rano Arslonbekova has been working at UWED since 2000 teaching ESP (English for Specific Purposes). In 2000 she got a scholarship and completed Mentor Course in Yashi, Romania. Rano worked as a teacher trainer in Uzbekistan from 2000 to 2002. In October 2012 she visited London Metropolitan University to observe English language classes (Erasmus Program). In August 2019 she trained in MGIMO, Odinsovo ("New methods of teaching English") and worked with masters at MGIMO Tashkent in 2020. She has been working in State Test Centre since 2015 as an expert of speaking and writing assessment. She is a team leader of the English department, faculty International Economy and Management. She has been teaching professional English in use (finance) and intelligent business. She has authored, co-authored, and co-edited numerous books in the department, including “English for banking and finance” (textbook), “English for Economics and Management professionals” (textbook), “Professional English in use (Supplementary materials for intelligent business course, Advanced level)”, English-Russian-Uzbek glossary on the professional English in use (finance). She became an  Attaché in October 2024. This diplomatic ranking is given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
