    Biography Facts

    Rushana Sa’dullayeva works as a lecturer at the Department of Civil Law and International Private Law Disciplines. Previously, she worked as a lawyer in state, non-state and commercial organizations, as well as in law firms. Her scientific activities are focused on the areas of international investment law, investment treaty arbitration, international commercial law and international commercial arbitration.

    Rushana earned her Bachelor's degree in International Law from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and her LL.M. in Commercial Law from Pennsylvania State University.

    As a Research Assistant at Pennsylvania State University, she conducted research in the fields of international investment law and international commercial arbitration. In this role, she carried out in-depth legal research, drafted legal memoranda, analyzed trends in the reform of the Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) system, and studied key arbitral awards and international treaties.

    Her professional experience spans both the public and private sectors. She worked at the Economic Court, gaining practical knowledge in resolving commercial disputes and court procedures. At an international energy company, she coordinated interactions with government authorities and supported various corporate projects. At a law firm, she contributed to the drafting of contracts and agreements, as well as legal memoranda and reviews on corporate and commercial law matters. Additionally, she completed a legal internship at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where she participated in legislative analysis and supported legal reform initiatives.

    Currently, Rushana Sadullaeva is a certified professional mediator and is listed in the official registry of mediators maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. She actively applies mediation principles in dispute resolution and possesses practical experience in this field.
