Sayora Alimovna holds the position of associate professor, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor. Before that, she worked in government and commercial organizations as an economist. She teaches the subjects world economy, economy of Uzbekistan, economic theory, international tourism, digital economy.  She has more than 60 scientific papers on the study of the features of innovative development of the countries of Southeast Asia, trade and economic cooperation of Uzbekistan with the Republic of Korea, as well as on the main areas of development of the economy of Uzbekistan, including two monographs "Diversification and increasing economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea" (2004), on this topic she defended her PhD dissertation in December 2004 at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, as well as "Improving the competitiveness of the economy of Uzbekistan in the context of liberalization and deepening of economic reforms" (2021). She has also published 2 textbooks and 11 teaching aids. She is also a member of the scientific council of the Faculty of International Economics and Management. Graduate of the Samarkand Cooperative Institute (now the Samarkand Institute of Trade and Service).
