Biography Facts
Alejandro Pérez Gutiérrez is a Teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language with a solid background in journalism and education. He currently serves as a lecturer at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication at the University of the Basque Country, and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Cantabria.
Alejandro is fluent in Spanish and English, and has specialized training in teaching for specific and vocational purposes. He has also completed several professional development courses focused on foreign language teaching methodologies, with a particular emphasis on the Asian context.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has actively participated in academic conferences in Uzbekistan, including the International Scientific-Practical Conference “Challenges and Solutions in Language Education” (University of World Economy and Diplomacy, May 20th, 2025) and the 1st International Forum “The New Uzbekistan – The Solid Women” (March 19th, 2024), organized by the National Guard and the Family and Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
He also collaborates regularly in cultural and institutional events aimed at strengthening relations between Spain and Uzbekistan, in partnership with the Embassy of Spain. Among these initiatives are the National Day of Spain celebration in Tashkent (October 12) and the Spanish Day event at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, which featured the participation of Ms. Asunción Sánchez Ruiz, Chargé d’Affaires of Spain in Uzbekistan.
