Rofiyeva Gulasal Yusubjonovna, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology, works as a senior lecturer. Previously, she worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of French Philology, Faculty of Foreign Philology, National University of Uzbekistan, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Rating. Today, she teaches French to 2nd-3rd-year students of the UWED. In 2020, she defended her dissertation on the topic “Specific features of the translation of conceptual metaphors from Uzbek into French (on the example of the translation of Erkin A’zam’s works)” and has published more than 20 scientific articles in this area. She participated in projects of the republican and international scope. In particular, she improved her skills in the synthesis and research stages of scientific literature at the universities of Tours and Poitiers in France within the framework of the Erasmus program. She has a DALF C1 level in French.
