    Biography Facts

    Dildora Bakhadirovna Khakimova Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations. Dr. Khakimova teaches graduate level courses in research methodology, quantitative research methods, and social research methods at University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    Dr. Khakimova has a bachelor’s degree in general psychology, master’s degree in personality psychology, and Ph.D., in developmental psychology, akmeology. In 2025 Dildora Khakimova earned Ph.D., in Teaching and Teacher Education, and International Education from George Mason University (USA).

    Since 2010, Dr. Khakimova have been actively involved in various professional and research projects. From 2010 to 2018, she worked at the National University of Uzbekistan as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor. From 2012 to 2016 she explored and implemented research and applied projects on the development of palliative care in Uzbekistan as a specialist and consultant of the United Nations Joint Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). From 2017 to 2021, she coordinated and guided the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) projects on the development of manuals on psycho-social support for people living with HIV/AIDS. From 2020 to 2023, Dr. Khakimova assisted in the development and implementation of the English-Speaking Nation (ESN) project as a graduate research assistant. Further, from 2023 to 2025, Dildora Khakimova participated in the TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) project as a teacher assistant. Dr. Khakimova is a recipient of the International Research Foundation (TIRF) grant.
