    About the Unit

    The Strategic Investment Unit is a structural division of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), responsible for the development and implementation of the University’s strategic investment policy.

    The main objective of the Unit is to ensure sustainable institutional development of the University through attracting international grants and investments, as well as coordinating international projects.

    The Unit plays a key role in developing international cooperation, building an investment ecosystem, and enhancing the global competitiveness of the University.

    Key Areas of Activity

    • Development and implementation of the University’s strategic investment policy;
    • Development of projects based on international grants and investments;
    • Establishing and developing long-term cooperation with international and local investors;
    • Interaction with ministries and government bodies on investment-related matters;
    • Development of partnerships with international financial institutions and donor organizations;
    • Assessment and management of investment risks;
    • Facilitating commercialization of innovative developments.

    Key Tasks

    1. Formation and coordination of a unified system of strategic investments of the University;
    2. Management of investment projects at all stages of their lifecycle;
    3. Coordination of international projects implemented through grants and investments;
    4. Ensuring effective interaction with ministries, government, and international partners;
    5. Organization and coordination of capacity building activities, including training and educational programs, with direct participation in the implementation of key University initiatives;
    6. Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of investment and grant activities.
