From June 24 to 26, 2025, a Summer School titled “Fostering a Culture of Integrity in Governance: Legal Education as a Tool for Anti-Corruption Reforms” was held in the Tashkent region for students of university legal clinics. The event was organized with the support of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan, and other partner organizations.

The Summer School brought together students of legal clinics from higher education institutions, researchers, experts, and representatives of government bodies. Among the active participants were representatives from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), including Dilshod Soliyev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Law and Public Law Disciplines; third-year students of the Faculty of International Law Madina Mukhitova, Sevinch Abdurasulova, Ruxshona Rakhmatillayeva, and second-year student Kamronbek Shermetov.

The primary goal of the Summer School was to raise legal awareness among youth, promote intolerance towards corruption, reinforce principles of integrity in public administration, and explore both international and national best practices in anti-corruption efforts.

The program featured discussions on topics such as state anti-corruption policy, youth involvement, gender equality and legal ethics, open data practices, international standards (including the UN Convention against Corruption), along with practical workshops, team projects, and the intellectual game "Zakovat."

At the conclusion of the forum, participants received official certificates, and student projects and anti-corruption initiatives were highly praised.

The event served to strengthen practical cooperation between universities and state institutions and underscored the vital role of legal education in combating corruption.
