UWED held a “Career Day” for students of the Faculty of International Economics and Management

On May 22 of this year, an event "Career Day" was organized for students and graduates of the Faculty of International Economics and Management of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
At the opening ceremony, UWED Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Economic Affairs Jalalov Muzaffar told young people about the key factors of success in the labor market and emphasized the attention paid by the faculty to this event.
During the event, representatives of more than 30 large organizations organized their stands and held an open dialogue. Among them: the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Agency for Advanced Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academy of Public Administration, Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Institute of Central Asia, Agency for the Exploitation of Water Management Facilities, Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research, Center for Economic Research and Reforms, State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Research Institute of Cultural Studies and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as FCS Experts, Bering Servis, Merit Chemicals, Deloitte & Touche Uzbekistan, Poytaxt Bank, Agrobank, Hamkorbank, Jizzax ADM Global, Apex Bank, Orient Finans Bank, Asakabank, Kafil sug'urta, Veolia energy and other partner organizations.
During the conversations at the stands, students received detailed information about real vacancies and internship programs, and also had the opportunity to propose their candidacies.
Small workshops and trainings organized as part of the "Career Day" were aimed at strengthening young professionals such skills as the art of communication, problem-solving strategies, leadership qualities and networking.
The event was an important stage in preparing students for the labor market, establishing professional ties and exchanging practical experience. Issues of signing memorandums between the university and partner organizations on further enrichment of educational and practical programs were also discussed.
Thus, the "Career Day" contributed not only to the professional growth of students, but also to increasing the potential for cooperation of the entire faculty.
