UWED Hosts Meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates and Signs Cooperation Agreement

On May 14, 2026, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a meeting with Shuhrat Sadikov, Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as part of the “Leader and Youth” initiative.

The meeting was attended by students of the Faculty of International Law. During the event, participants discussed ongoing reforms in the advocacy system, key aspects of pursuing a career in the legal field, opportunities available for young lawyers, and practical skills essential for future professional activity.

The event was held in the format of an open dialogue. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct recommendations and advice from an experienced legal professional. The meeting played an important role in strengthening students’ professional motivation, preparing them for future legal careers, and increasing their interest in the field of advocacy.

In addition, as part of Shuhrat Sadikov’s visit to the university, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in the field of legal personnel training.

Within the framework of this cooperation, the parties identified several priority areas, including establishing close cooperation in training highly qualified legal specialists, actively involving students in the field of advocacy, developing their practical skills, and enhancing their professional potential.

The signed agreement represents an important step toward further improving the quality of legal education, strengthening the link between theory and practice, and training qualified lawyers equipped with modern knowledge and skills.
