The UWED Faculty of International Law Best Achievements - March 2026

The Faculty of International Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) continues to demonstrate outstanding academic and professional activity. Throughout March 2026, faculty members have been actively engaged in publishing scholarly research, presenting at international conferences, receiving professional recognitions, organizing guest lectures, and enhancing student learning through masterclasses.
For scholarly publications, Mahinnora Mirhamidova, published an article that explores the direct link between women's education, their socio-political activity, and the strategic goals of sustainable development. The article emphasizes that raising society's intellectual potential is inseparable from ensuring quality education for women and girls.
Professor Surayyo Usmanova, delivered a presentation on current issues related to Uzbekistan's WTO accession process and its impact on regional trade relations. The plenary session brought together leading experts from the United Kingdom, Japan, Nepal, and Uzbekistan to discuss prospects for regional economic cooperation.
Professor Nargiza Raimova has officially received her professorship diploma. The Faculty extends its sincere congratulations and wishes her continued success in future scientific research.
There was a huge lecture given at the Constitutional Court at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan to students. The event was organized by the Department of International Law and Public Law as part of the "Constitutional Law" course, led by: PhD, Head of the Department Nargiza Kodirova., PhD, Associate Professor Zarina Isroilova., PhD, Associate Professor Shirin Xamdamova., Instructors Nigina Azizova, Aziza Xallakova, and Durdona Murodova.
The lecture provided students with direct insight into the role of the Constitutional Court following recent constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan.
Lastly, a Masterclass on Judicial Process within the Framework of the Sustainable Development was presented to 3rd year students that was lectured by Shahrukh Umirzakov, Lecturer, Department of Civil Law and International Private Law. The masterclass focused on civil and economic procedural law, equipping students with practical knowledge for modern legal practice while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
