    At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), within the framework of the “Thought Space” project, a meeting was held with the senior lecturer of the UWED, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in political sciences Islamkhon Gafarov.

    During the event, a constructive exchange of views was organized between students and the lecturer on a number of topical issues.

    In the first part of the seminar, I. Gafarov made a report on the importance of writing scientific articles and theses. As part of the presentation, a detailed analysis of the structure of a scientific publication was presented. The teacher gave exhaustive comments on each structural element of the article, explaining their importance and principles of content formation. Students received answers to questions regarding the correct formulation of the title, as well as the preparation of an abstract, introduction and the main part of the study.

    In the second part of the meeting, the lecturer introduced the audience to the methodology for preparing analytical materials in expert and analytical centers. A visual demonstration of specific examples aroused great interest among the students and contributed to the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills that are important for future professional activities.

    In the final part of the training seminar, Islamkhon Gafarov presented a number of his author's publications to the students, motivating them to in-depth study of disciplines and conducting scientific work. At the end of the official program, an interactive session was held, following which the winners received books with the author's personal autograph as a gift.
