    On June 28-29 of this year, within the framework of the project "Travel around the Motherland!", aimed at developing domestic tourism during the summer holidays, students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy visited the "Flower Festival" in the city of Namangan and Pap district.

    The main goal of the event was to ensure a meaningful and useful summer vacation for students, as well as to strengthen respect for national values, historical memory and cultural heritage.

    During the visit, students took part in the Flower Festival in Namangan, got acquainted with the art of floristry, folk crafts and modern landscape design. Within the framework of the festival, an exchange of views also took place on issues of environmental culture, urban development and domestic tourism.

    Students also visited the historical sights of the city, such as the Hitoabad Mosque, Babur Park and the Mahmudakhoja Behbudi Theater.

    In the second part of the trip, a visit to the Pap district was organized, where the participants got acquainted with ethnographic sites, local life, customs and national hospitality.

    During the trip, all safety measures were observed. The activities of the students were coordinated by the Department of Youth Affairs of the University and the tutor of the Faculty of International Economic Relations - M. Mansurov. This visit contributed to:

    • strengthening patriotic feelings among young people,

    • developing respect for history and traditions,

    • increasing interest in domestic tourism,

    • Formation of a healthy lifestyle and active citizenship.

    In addition, the trip had a positive impact on the personal and creative development of students, contributing to the formation of independent thinking skills, creativity and teamwork.
