Administrative Court Practice for UWED Students: from theory to practice

On November 7 and 13, 2025, at the initiative of Professor I. Khamedov and Senior Lecturer D. Soliev of the Department of International Law and Public Law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, regular practical classes were organized for students of the International Law Faculty at the Tashkent City Administrative Court. The events were aimed at improving students' practical skills and familiarizing them with the administrative court system of Uzbekistan.

During the two-day practical classes, UWED students learned about the operations of the Tashkent City Administrative Court, the procedures for handling administrative cases, and the administrative proceedings process.

    The focus was on:

Observing court hearings: students participated in actual court hearings to consider complaints against decisions, actions (or inactions) of administrative bodies.

Procedural Process: The rights and obligations of participants in administrative proceedings, as well as the procedure for presenting and evaluating evidence, were explored.

Courts and Public Administration: The role of administrative courts in protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens and their importance in ensuring the legality of government agencies' activities were explained.

These practical classes, organized by Professor I. Khamedov and Senior Lecturer D. Soliev, allow students to adapt their theoretical knowledge to the practical needs of the Uzbek legal system. For students of the International Law Faculty, studying national administrative judicial practice is an important step in developing skills for harmonizing international law with national legislation in the future.

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy aims to systematically improve the level of practical training for legal professionals by continuing such practice-oriented forms of education.
