An educational conversation was held on the topic “Corruption is the enemy of development”

On November 15 of this year, within the framework of the “Coordination Hour” for students of the Faculty of International Law, an educational conversation was organized on the topic “Corruption is the enemy of development”. The main goal of the event was to form a conscious and critical approach to corruption among students, a deep awareness of its negative impact on the development of society, as well as further strengthening the principles of honesty and responsibility.
During the conversation, the course coordinators provided detailed information on the origin of corruption, the factors contributing to its occurrence, as well as the detrimental consequences for public administration and public life. In particular, it was emphasized that corruption undermines economic stability, reduces the effectiveness of reforms and negatively affects the atmosphere of justice and trust. Also, the students were explained in an accessible form the systemic reforms, legal framework and preventive mechanisms implemented in our country to combat corruption.
During the practical part of the event, students presented presentations, informative speeches and videos on the topic. They highlighted various manifestations of corruption, its impact on the lives of young people and the development of society based on students' own views. During the discussion, an exchange of views took place on the importance of honesty, legality, personal responsibility and civic position.
This educational meeting contributed to the formation of students' irreconcilable attitude to corruption, the development of a legal culture and the increase of civic responsibility. Regular organization of such events at the faculty remains an important factor in strengthening the legal awareness of young people.
