    Biography

    He was born in 1982 in Samarkand.

    From 2000 to 2005, he studied at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations.

    From 2005 to 2006, he completed his Master’s degree at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University.

    From 2006 to 2007, he completed special courses at the French National School of Administration.

    From 2004 to 2006, he served as Referent at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Belgium and at Uzbekistan’s Missions to the European Union and NATO.

    From 2006 to 2008, he worked as Referent and Attaché at the Department for Cooperation with Europe and NATO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

    From 2008 to 2012, he served as Third Secretary at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France and at the Permanent Delegation of Uzbekistan to UNESCO.

    From 2012 to 2014, he served as Head of Division at the Directorate for Cooperation with Europe and NATO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

    From 2014 to 2016, he served as First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations.

    From 2016 to 2018, he served as Counsellor and Chargé d’Affaires at the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan in Geneva.

    In 2018, he was appointed Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations.

    Since 2022, he has been serving as Vice-President of the UN Human Rights Council.

    On August 7, 2023, he was appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations.

    Since November 20, 2024, he has been serving as the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Cuba.

    In 2025, he was awarded the “Sodiq xizmatlari uchun” medal.
