Biography Facts
Dr. Munirakhon Mukhitdinova is a qualified expert with more than ten years of professional experience in English language teaching methodology and modern language education. Since 2015, she has been teaching ESL (English as a Foreign Language), ESP (English for Specific Purposes), and General English courses at higher educational institutions.
In 2012, she earned her Master’s degree in Linguistics (English Language) from the National University of Uzbekistan. In 2020, she defended her dissertation and obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences (specialization: 13.00.02 – Theory and Methods of Teaching and Upbringing). In 2023, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. She is currently pursuing doctoral research for the Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Pedagogical Sciences.
Her scientific interests include foreign language teaching methodology, EFL, ESP, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into language education.
In 2023, Dr. Mukhitdinova became the winner of the “Young Scientists” program, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and completed professional development training at the Norwich Institute for Language Education (NILE), UK, specializing in CLIL and Teaching English for Specific Academic Purposes.
In 2025, she was awarded a Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) grant by American Councils and carried out academic and teaching activities at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire (USA). In the same year, she served as a delegate at the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) international forum and received a certificate of participation.
Additionally, in 2025, she successfully completed advanced training courses organized by Oxford and Cambridge Universities — “Opportunities of Modern Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence” — as well as “An Essential Guide to AI for Educators” and “AI Ready School Pilot Program” offered by the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
Throughout her professional career, Dr. Mukhitdinova has actively participated in numerous national and international research projects. She served as the project leader of “Methodology of Organizing English Language Courses Using Artificial Intelligence Technologies” in collaboration with IME Solutions Pro, and as the head of the project “Designing Distance E-learning and Knowledge Quality Control System for ESP.” She also contributed to the “Development of an Additional Software Package for the TUIT LMS System” and “Abiturient.uz” projects (2019–2020).
She successfully completed programs organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including “English for Science” (2024), “International Approaches and Best Practices of Using Data in Scientific Research” (2024), and “AI-Enhanced Academic Research & Writing Assistant” (2025), earning official certificates.
Currently, Dr. Munirakhon R. Mukhitdinova is an active scholar and experienced educator conducting research in the fields of foreign language teaching methodology, EFL and ESP education, and the integration of artificial intelligence and digital learning technologies into pedagogy.
