Biography Facts
As a teacher of the English Language Department, J.Ziyodullayev works on assessments on the Moodle platform as well as designing course materials for the General English Course for Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels. In 2024-2025 academic year he is teaching “General English for Intermediate level” and “General English for Upper-intermediate level” to the first-year students of International Relations and Political Studies, International Economics and Management and International Law Faculties.
J. Ziyodullayev has published more than 10 articles related to teaching methods in the sphere of English for Specific Purposes. His articles such as “The practice of teaching ESP at vocational colleges by using authentic materials” published in Economy and Society Journal (May, 2024) and “The notion of ESP and its distinctive characteristics” published at the CRIOMW conference in Italy (September, 2024) shed light on different teaching methods, distinctions among ESP and other courses as well as the specifications of ESP subdivisions.
J.Ziyodullayev received a fellowship from the Istedod Foundation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2018 and participated in a professional development course in the field of English language, culture and international communication at Norwich Institute for Language Education, Norwich, the United Kingdom. The course covered the use of modern pedagogical tools, testing and assessment, English for academic purposes and technology in the classroom. In 2019, he took a professional development course on the program “Innovative methods of conducting English lessons and translation using high-tech multimedia equipment” at Astrakhan State University, Astrakhan, the Russian Federation.
