Biography Facts
Veronika Viktorovna Myakota graduated from Navoi State Pedagogical Institute in 2008, specializing in teaching Russian language and literature. In 2010, she received a master's degree in Linguistics (Russian Philology) from the Uzbek State University of World Languages. She has been working at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy since September 2025. Her total work experience is 15 years.
Research interests: psycholinguistics, computational linguistics, ontolinguistics, bilingualism, the interaction of the Uzbek and Russian languages in the educational environment; linguacultural studies; translation practices and translation theory; neologisms, interference, and language fusion in the context of globalization; language policy, the status of the Russian language in Uzbekistan; methods of teaching Russian as a foreign/non-native language.
V.V. Myakota is actively involved in scientific work, presenting papers at conferences and publishing in international and national scientific journals. He has published approximately 30 scientific articles and theses, received three copyright certificates for intellectual property, and published two textbooks and four teaching aids on the Russian language for students majoring in non-philology.
