Biography Facts
Amir Kalbaev graduated from Nukus State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Philology (Russian Language and Literature). He completed his master’s studies at Ufa University of Science and Technology (Russian Federation), majoring in Russian as a Foreign Language.
From 2021 to 2023, he worked as a lecturer in Russian as a foreign language at Bashkir State Medical University. From 2024 to 2025, he served as a lecturer in Russian at Tashkent State Medical University, where he co-authored the textbook “Russian Language for English-speaking Students”. He is currently employed at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
His research interests include linguodidactics, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, storytelling in language education, communicative competence of physicians, and innovative approaches to teaching Russian in medical and intercultural contexts.
Kalbaev A. is actively engaged in research activities. He is the author of publications in international and national journals and a participant in international conferences. His scientific works include articles and theses on storytelling, methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, and literary analysis of Marina Tsvetaeva’s poetry.
