    On April 16th of this year, a meeting of the Specialized Scientific Council for awarding the degree of Doctor of Law (DSc) 11/10.01.2024.Yu.24.04 was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

    The meeting was attended by Sodiq Safoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of UWED, Ahmadbek Yusupov, Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC), and leading legal scholars of the country who have made significant contributions to legal science and the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.

    During the meeting, a broad discussion was held on the activities of the Scientific Council and its Scientific Seminars in ensuring a high level of scientific research in the specialties of "Theory and History of State and Law. History of Legal Doctrines", "Constitutional Law. Administrative Law. Financial and Customs Law", as well as "Civil Law. Entrepreneurial Law. Family Law. International Private Law".

    Suggestions were made to improve the process of organizing the activities of the Scientific Council, recommendations were developed to improve the quality of scientific dissertation works, and opportunities for expanding international cooperation in this area were discussed.

    This event became an important event in the scientific life of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, where significant work is being carried out to train highly qualified scientific personnel of legal scholars.
