Ph.D. student and teacher of International Law faculty at the UWED Usmanova Surayyo has been a visiting scholar at the Elliot School of International Affairs of the George Washington University in the USA from April 1 to May 30, 2019
Surayyo Usmanova has been trained under the Fellowship Research Grant program “New voices from Uzbekistan” funded by the Central Asia Program of the University and discussed the results of the research among scientific representatives of Washington DC. Participants of this program have studied in a variety of courses, and visited numerous official organizations, including international organizations based in Washington DC (International Labor Organization, World Bank), Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United States, US Government Departments (State Department, USAID, CSIS) and higher education schools (Georgetown University, National Defense University). Certificates were handed out to participants after the final demonstration of the program. The results of the research are expected to be published in the scientific book of Elliot School’s Central Asia program.
