English for International Relations

It is founded according to a speciality of the International relations. Under this program lessons of English language are spent exclusively in English, with use of modern methods of education and leading technologies. In the program lists are given all lessons within 1 st to 5 th course, and also the list of the basic and auxiliary literature. On practical lessons norms of a pronunciation, grammatical rules and lexical features are studied. At the same time, the listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing and speaking skills are important. The basic themes concern political science, the international relations and diplomacy. Every week news in English on channels BBC, CNN or EuroNews are listened and discussed. Students discuss fiction, newspapers, magazines in English. Evaluation of students is according to oral and written examinations, tests and abstracts on various themes.
