International Relations

The “International relations” faculty prepares highly-skilled personnel for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also for the ministries, departments and the organizations of our country concerning with the foreign states, for embassies and the international organizations. At “International relations” faculty the future diplomats are prepared. If you wish to become the expert of the international level in this sphere, you can success by means of knowledge and experience received on our faculty.

Annually more than 55 students enter the faculty, for today at faculty there are more than 200 students.

Modern methods in an education sphere, improvement of professional skill of faculty staff at foreign and domestic academic institutes, the constant scientific works of teachers directed on increase of experience, practical seminars and the methodology, all it together provides professional work standardization.

Many foreign experts known figures in our Republic in sphere of the international relations visit our faculty.

The faculty prepares specialists in following specifications:

•  Experts-analysts and predictors of political and administrative decrees;

•  Experts in elaboration of political strategy;

•  Finding out a suitable policy of Republic Uzbekistan on international scene, proceeding from the analysis of the international political situation;

•  Studying political, social and cultural principles of Republic Uzbekistan in economic relations with the foreign states;

•  Carrying out of theoretical and practical researches in sphere of history, the theory and practice of the international relations, world history, history of religion, languages, economy, literatures and cultures.

 

The training system of faculty on 80-90 % consists of the practical courses which are meeting the requirements of world universities.

More than 10 clubs and groups, such as "Intercom", “Ambassador”, “Creative thinking” (Le pensee creative - works in French), “Young leaders”, “Young political scientists”, "Parliamentary debates", "Translator", "Friendship", "Image", “The World of a policy”, "Awakening", "Diplomat", “The Young analyst” function at the faculty.

 

The faculty has relations with universities of Washington, Arizona, Stanford, Oregon, Indiana, Connecticut Fairfield of the United States of America, universities of Schiller, Cambridge, Westminster of the Great Britain, Institute of political researches of Paris, the International institute of the government ruling at the Prime minister of France, University of Sorbonne, the Belgian University of Free Brussels, Maastricht University of Nederland, University of the European researches of Hungary, higher educational institutions of Germany, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, China, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Russia and other CIS countries, with the international organizations, such as UNESCO, United Nations representation, SOROS, TASIS, AKSELS, JICA, DAAD, The British council, Conrad Adenauer foundation.

The faculty has the established relations with Moscow state institute of the international relations (ÌÃÈÌÎ) and Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, universities Nagoya and Waseda of Japan, universities of Goethe, Gissen, Bremen Germany, universities of Washington, Arizona, Stanford, Oregon, Indiana, Connecticut Fairfield of the United States of America, universities of Schiller, Cambridge, Westminster of the Great Britain, Institute of political researches of Paris, the International institute of the government ruling at the Prime minister of France, University of Sorbonne, the Belgian University of Free Brussels, Maastricht University of Nederland, University of the European researches of Hungary, with Seoul and Kemyoung universities of South Korea, and also universities of Malaysia, China, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, the CIS countries, with the international organizations, such as UNESCO, United Nations representation, SOROS, TASIS, AKSELS, JICA, DAAD, The British council, Conrad Adenauer and Fredrik Ebert foundations.
