International Law
The University of World Economy and Diplomacy was established on September 23, 1992 be the Decree 474 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan . Since February first, 1993 three Departments on the following Specializations have been created: International Economic Relations, International Law, International Relations.
The department of International Law was founded in 1996.
At the present this department is the only department in Uzbekistan which trains International Lawers . Since 1993 Bachelor students in the sphere of International Law Relations (380400) and since 2002 the students on Jurisprudence (5380100) have been trained.
The specialization in jurisprudence 5380100 is aimed at studding internal legislation of the Republic which regulates International law subjects and legal norms.
By the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, 1998 Magistrate department at UWED was set up . This department included the specialization in “International Private Law” M 380402.
“Diplomatic and Consular Law” M 380408 and in 2001/2002 academic year entrance exams to the International Law department were held for the first time.
By the provision of UWED‘s scientific council in 2005 on the first June the Master's department and became subordinate to the ‘International Law” department.

From 1993 to the present time 596 bachelors and 109 masters specialists have been trained the department.
The majority of graduates work in different governmental and nongovernmental organizations as well as in intergovernmental and nonintergovermental organizations.

The State Tax Committee, the Institute of Strategic Research, in Human Rights Protection Bodies, Uzbektourism , Uzbekistan Airways.
The department has established relations with such organizations as the Russian Academy og Diplomacy the University of Bremen , Harvard, Mississippi , Vilmsburg , Washington , Arizona , Origan , Indiana, Ferfeld: The University of Lund (Swiss) , Smiller , Cambridge , Westminister , Sarbona , Maostrixt, Leyden , Japan , Malasiya, South Korea , China, Poland , the universities at CIS ,UNESKO , The European Centreal university on Reaserching Peace , The UN Embassy
